The Death Turn

The paved road here runs at an angle of nearly 180 degrees. At the Death Turn there is a unique vantage point from which you can enjoy the picturesque panorama of the Karkonosze Mountains, as well as see Szklarska Poręba and the entire Jeleniogórska Valley. The very name Death Turn was born for a reason. This is where car accidents have occurred over the years, resulting in the deaths of many drivers and passengers.
